My doctoral project aims to longitudinally document the recovery of speech skills following a stroke. I was awarded a professional doctoral grant from the Fonds québécois de recherche en santé du Québec (FRQS, 2020-2024). I am a member in good standing of the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec since 2011. I have worked as a clinical speech-language pathologist with adult and geriatric clients in hospital care at Hôpital la Cité-de-la-Santé in Laval (2011-2018) and at Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur in Montreal (2018-…).

I have developed a solid experience in the evaluation of acquired communication and swallowing disorders. My research interests focus on acquired language disorders, language aspects associated with aging, but also the development of knowledge for speech-language pathology practice in the acute care setting.
